• Jo-Ann Stores Inc (JAS) sets shareholder meeting for 3/18 for vote on merger with Leonard Green & Partners 
• Only 53% of Penn Virginia GP Holdings L P (PVG) shareholders voted in favor of the merger with Penn Virginia Resource Partners L P (PVR).  The shareholder meeting was adjourned until Mar 9. 
• Novell Inc (NOVL) shareholders approve acquisition by  Attachmate Corp (Francisco Partners, Golden Gate Capital and Thoma Bravo).
• Talecris Biotherapeutics Holdings Corp (TLCR) shareholders approve acquisition by  Grifols SA (GIFLF). 
• Arbinet Corp (ARBX) sells patent assets and expects to merger consideration to rise to 0.5794 (up from 0.5126) shares of Primus Telecomm (PMUG).
• NStar (NST) announces that the HSR waiting period has expired in planned merger with Northeast Utilities (NU).
• Dynamex Inc (DDMX) shareholders approve acquisition by  TransForce Inc.
• Standard Microsystems Corp (SMSC) receives early HSR termination in merger with Conexant Systems Inc (CNXT)
