• TKH Group to acquire Optelecom-NKF (OPTC). 
• City of Nashua to acquire Pennichuck Corp (PNNW).
• Quest Software (QSFT) to acquire BakBone Software (BKBO.OB). 
• CardioNet (BEAT) to acquire Biotel (BTEL.OB).
• Primus Telecommunications (PMUG.OB) to acquire Arbinet Corp (ARBX). 
• LFB Biotechnologies to acquire GTC Biotherapeutis (GTCB.OB).
• Vintage Capital Group to acquire Caprius (CAPI.PK)

• Naugatuck Valley (NVSL) and Southern Connecticut Bancorp ( SSE) terminate merger.

• AirTran Holdings (AAI) and Southwest Airlines (LUV) receive antitrust second request.  
• Osteotech (OSTE) shareholders approve merger with Medtronic (MDT).
• Robbins & Myers (RBN) files S-4 in connection with merger with T-3 Energy (TTES).  
• St Jude Medical (STJ) and AGA Medical (AGAM) get early termination of HSR.
• Gammond Gold (GRS) and Capital Gold (CGC) get early termination of HSR.
• Nighthawk Radiology gets early HSR termination.
• The Gores Group drops out of the bidding for Phoenix Technologies (PTEC).
• Onex Corp (OCX.TO) extends tender offer for Res-Care (RSCR) until Nov 15 as required regulatory approval has not been obtained.
