• Verigy Ltd. (VRGY) files S-4 in merger with LTX-Credence Corp (LTXC) despite having an offer from Advantest Corp (ATE).
• ABB Ltd Common St (ABB) received a second request for information under HSR in merger with  Baldor Electric (BEZ).
• Verifone Systems (PAY) files S-4 in merger with Hypercom Corp (HYC).
